The program began in Kentucky with the training of 39 educators on March 3-4, 2002
March 2002 The pilot project for 22 middle schools in Kentucky began with teacher training
October 2003 WWF Grant funded WSAA kit for training, demonstration, field days
August 2005 Washington State kickoff provided training for 17 school teachers and 11 staff
29 April 2006 First Washington NASP Championship Tournament – Yakima – 48 archers
2007 Second Washington NASP Championship – Yakima – 87 Archers
2008 Third Washington NASP Championship – E Wenatchee – 171 Archers
2009 Fourth Washington NASP Championship – E Wenatchee – 210 Archers
2010 Fifth Washington NASP Championship – CWU Ellensburg – 240 Archers
2011 Sixth Washington NASP Championship – CWU Ellensburg – 300 Archers
