History of the program...
 
 

Ø March 3-4, 2002    The program began in Kentucky with the training of 39 educators

Ø March 2002—       The pilot project for 22 Kentucky middle schools began with teacher training

Ø October 2003 –     WWF Grant funded WSAA equipment for training, demonstration, & field days

Ø 27 March 2005-     First Private School joins the program – New Horizons MS, Renton

Ø 21 April 2005-       First Public School joins the program – Darrington MS, Darrington

Ø August 2005 –        Washington State kickoff trained 17 school teachers, 11 staff and archers

Ø February 2006 –    Washington’s second teacher training for 2 school teachers and 7 archers

Ø 29 April 2006 –      Washington hosts First NASP Championship Tournament, Davis HS, Yakima
